BCCA Convention 2009
Home ]

The annual Brewery Collectibles Club of America (BCCA) convention will be held in Springfield, IL, September 9th to 12th, 2009.  Reisch Brewing Company will be the featured local brewery.

The big day, of course, is Saturday, which is open to the public.  There will be over 150 tables of collectibles, a feast for the eyes of any collector, and anyone interested in brewery history.

There will be a dinner Saturday night for the BCCA members. A Reisch centerpiece will be on each table.  The centerpiece, by artist Cheryl Berkler, will be cast and airbrushed.  After the dinner one lucky person at each table will go home with the centerpiece.

George Reisch III, will hopefully be an honored guest at the dinner and convention.  Reisch would give talk at the convention on the 5-generation legacy of brew masters in the Reisch family.

I'm planning to attend the convention.  I'll have a table showing some of my Reisch Brewery collection and taking orders for my book, "Reisch Brewing: Over 100 Years of Better Beers."  I will also be presenting a colorful illustrated history of the Reisch Brewery.
